Meet Jessica

Hey y'all!  Welcome to my blog!  My name is Jessica, and I am just a small town southern girl from the great state of Alabama.  I have been married to my best friend (Ty) for about a year.  You can see our amazing wedding photos here.  This blog is a place for me to share my likes, loves and life with you.  Hope you enjoy!

10 Facts About Me:
1. University of Alabama Alumni - I graduated in 2007 with a BS degree in Accounting.

2. Bird Phobia - Yes, you read that correctly.  I am deathly terrified of birds.  I am well aware of the fact that I should be afraid of something more rational...like snakes or bears or sharks.  But for some inexplicable reason birds just freak me out.

3.  Favorite TV Show - The Office.  I think it is the greatest show ever made.  I absolutely love it!  I watch it over and over again on Netflix and never get tired of it.

5. Raymond - My mom has a cat named Raymond or Ray Earl.  My sister and I refer to him as our brother.  So don't be suprised if you see some funny pics of him from time to time.

7.  College Football - I LOVE Alabama football!  There is just nothing like Bryant Denny on a Saturday night!  Roll Tide!

8. Math Nerd - I have always loved math.  I actually thought I wanted to teach it for a while, so I got a math minor at Alabama.  (Side note:  I do not advise any college student to take 15 hours of upper level math classes in one semester.  It is not fun!  Shocker!)  My plans changed quickly after tutoring at a community college the summer after I graduated.  I decided to stick with accounting.

9.  Diet Coke - I have a slight addiction to diet coke.  When I say slight addiction, I really mean that I cannot live without it!  I blame my mother.  She is also addicted, and I believe that she passed it on to me.

10.  Country Girl - You certainly wouldn't know it by looking at me now...but I am a country girl at heart.  I grew up in the middle of nowhere.  I learned how to drive on a dirt road, and growing up I thought everyone had a drawer in their fridge devoted to cow medicine (apparently not).
